Rock's founders initially worked together in Investment Sales in the Investment Property Advisory (IPA) division of Harbert Realty Services in Birmingham, Alabama. In 2003, after five years of significant growth with an exclusive focus on multi-family housing, they negotiated with Harbert to purchase the IPA division and operate it as Rock Apartment Advisors.
Rock officially opened its doors on August 1, 2003, and began serving the industry as an apartment advisory firm with an exclusive focus on the Alabama apartment market. In just a few short years, the Rock team has built a reputation for delivering top-quality service to private equity investors and institutional-level investors alike. Today, Rock is the preeminent broker for apartments in Alabama and has expanded its footprint to include markets in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
